Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Rolls

Thursday, June 21, 2012

These quick and easy Cinnamon Sugar Pull Part Rolls are a breakfast staple in our family.  I'm pretty sure my Auntie Diane was the first to bring these heavenly rolls to the table and I'm really glad she did. They come together in a snap and are a real crowd pleaser.

Give them a try this weekend and I think they will become a breakfast staple for your family as well.
Start by melting a stick of butter, I do it in the microwave.  By "it" I mean melt the butter.  Get your head outta the gutter.  You must be reading those Shades of Grey Books.
Add some white sugar and cinnamon to a different small bowl.
Stir to combine.
This is what makes them so quick and easy--already made rolls.  I have a love hate with these buttermilk rolls.  They are the adult version of jack-in-the-box.  They scare the pants off of me.  Please tell me I'm not alone.
Get the assembly line ready, rolls, butter, cinnamon sugar.  Oh and the pan in the back.
Toss each roll in the butter
Then the cinnamon sugar to coat.
Arrange them in a 9 inch cake pan like so.  I call dibs on the middle ones, everyone in my family knows.
Bake them for 20 minutes or so and they will look something like this.  But wait, you think they look good now….
Flip them over on a plate and this is what they look like.  Ooey, gooey cinnamoney num nums.
Goodness.
Yeah, make these.

Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart Rolls

1 stick of butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
20 refrigerator buttermilk biscuits

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Take each biscuit and toss it in the butter, then in the cinnamon sugar.  Arrange around the outside of a 9 inch cake pan (sprayed with cooking spray) , in a single layer, then place a few in the middle.

Bake for about 20 minutes, take out of the oven and let sit for about 2 minutes.

After two minutes, invert on a large plate and serve.

Enjoy!
