As you may be aware, I am working with Tastefully Simple for the year and have done a few posts about their products. You can check them out here and here. This month, I was given the option to either host or attend a Tastefully Simple Party. Well, you might also be aware that I LOVE to host so I went with that option. Here is a little run down on how it works...
To kick things off, I was connected with a local consultant, Heidi Arndt. We corresponded via email and had a quick phone chat about how I wanted to do things. We decided that we would go with the Mix and Mingle Party which allowed us to relax and have a fun time, no pressure. A few days after that, this bag of goodies arrived at my doorstep.
Inside were a bunch of products for me to make before the party along with postcards I could use for invites. I ended up using an Evite…mainly because I didn't see the post cards in time! Whoops.
To be honest, I was kind of overwhelmed when I saw how many things I would have to make. I thought this was supposed to be Tastefully Simple people!?
Well, I went to the grocery store and picked up the few things I needed and came back to the house to whip up the goods. Once I started going, it took me about 20 minutes to do EVERYTHING. Seriously, it was the quickest and easiest prep for any party that I have hosted…and I have hosted a lot of parties.
I made things the day before since the mixes are dry and things taste better if they have time to rehydrate.
The next day, I set everything out, made little name tags (totally optional but a good idea so people know what they are tasting)...
Whipped up a loaf of the awesome Bountiful Beer Bread®
And we were good to go. Ps. this Key Lime Cheeseball Mix®--holy SMOKES that is amazing.
Heidi came and set up a little display
And made the Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup Mix® and the Oh My Chai! Mix®(which is amazing by the way)
We started by chatting and looking over things
And then Heidi walked us through the products and we had a chance to try everything. Ps. that Parmesan Peppercorn Warm Dip Mix®is my absolute favorite!
Heidi chatted about how to use the products every day, not just for special occasions and gave us some tips for recipes.
My lovely sister (in law) Emily did a little food demo of these awesome Artichoke and Spinach Chicken Roll Ups which were amazing. Unfortunately I was too busy devouring them to take a picture !
All in all we had a fantastic time! My little Niece Ivy was exhausted from all of the fun and food! :)
I mean come on! SO cute right?!
So, overall, hosting a Tastefully Simple party is just that…simple! It is so fun to try all of the different products while in a casual, laid back atmosphere. If you are interested in hosting a party, you can check out the Tastefully Simple website here. If you don't already have a Tastefully Simple consultant that you are working with, you can locate one in your area by searching on the right hand side of their website. There is also a little video about hosting if you want to check that out below.
Feel free to ask me any questions about the party and if you need any recommendations for products--obviously I have a few favorites by now! :)
**DISCLAIMER: I was compensated for writing this post as I am every month while working with Tastefully Simple in Project Simplicity. That being said, the opinions are my own, as always, you can't by my love…baby.**
Wow it looks like you pulled together a beautiful party in the end! Great job girlie!!
