I know some of you loathe meal planning but I take great joy in thinking about what to make, writing meals down in my planner and yes, actually grocery shopping. So I figured, why wouldn't I post my weekly meal plans on the blog!? You all might as well gain from my planning right? In the future I hope to have the posts up on Saturday mornings so that it is set to go for weekend grocery shopping. Let me know if you have any other ideas that would make these posts more helpful!
So here it is, Weekly Meal Plan 1.
Perfect Chili with corn tortilla chips for dipping
Slow Cooker Salisbury Steaks with Mashed Potatoes
Crockpot Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Pasta (photo and recipe from Crockpot Gourmet)
HOW good does this look!? Carbs. Chicken. Buffalo Sauce. CHEESE. We can't wait to try it!
Teriyaki Meatballs. These things are the best! I serve them with a little steamed broccoli. Also, I typically make a double batch then freeze the meat mixture for the next time I want to enjoy them. Then, thaw it out in the fridge (over night usually works) and make them along with the sauce the next day!
Pizza Burgers. Quick, easy, a family favorite!
Penne Rustica (A Macaroni Grill Copycat) This recipe does take a bit longer than others so I like to make it on the weekend. It is not something we have all the time but when we do, boy is it good. I have been craving it like crazy!
Ps. Don't mind the blog post...seriously one of the first recipes I made for Mrs. Schwartz's Kitchen!
There it is! The first installment of Weekly Meal Plans!
